St. Paul Degree College has established Student’s Council Committee of Students to enhance their creativity, innovation and leadership skills to make them capable to showcase their skills and qualities. Formation of student council has been performed as in step with university guidelines. Students from each and every department and from cultural, sports, DLLE and NSS are to be made member of the council. General Secretary is elected among council members by voting.

Objectives of student council:

  • To be proficient in numerous co-curricular and extra-curricular activities together with academics.
  • To help them to be flexible and efficient.
  • To develop skills like decision making, leadership, managing ability in students
  • To make them able to conduct activities smartly.

Functions of student council:

  • To formally represent all the students in the Institute.
  • To pick out, assist and resolve problems encountered by students in the Institute
  • To promote and encourage the involvement of college students in organizing Institute activities.
  • To communicate its opinion to the Institute administration on any subject that concerns.
  • To consult students on any issue of importance.
  • To prepare educational and leisure activities for college students
